    [2021 Six Nations] Ireland v England (20/03/2021)

Not sure, but I think that this is the first time since they were introduced that England have finished with a minus points difference Appalling Mike

    [2021 Six Nations] Ireland v England (20/03/2021)

Had there been three sides on the field, England would have finished fourth! What happened to the side that played so well against France? I thought that the Aki red card was harsh - had he been the carrier and Vunipola the tackler, i think it could have gone the other way round! Mike

Ah, thanks for the update - under those circumstances it is very understandable Regards Mike

I wonder why - it was really useful. I have tried, so far without success, to find an alternative Mike

    ESPN site

Yes, that's the link I use - if you look at the top line after 'countries' it used to say 'stats' which was an invaluable source of information on players and matches. For a few days clicking on it just went back to the home page, now it is gone altogether Mike

Does anyone else use this site -it used to have a very useful stats section but this has disappeared Mike

[2020 Six Nations] Scotland vs France (08/03/20)

Well done Scotland - so pleased for them - they really deserved the win, and with better referring the margin would have been greater Mike

[2020 Six Nations] Scotland vs France (08/03/20)

So, well done Scotland so far - France should be done to 13 men and 14-0 behind 0 but then, with SH refsm what can ine expect? Mike

[2020 Six Nations] Scotland vs France (08/03/20)

So, after having men yards offside, France get a penalty and then a try - why bother turning up with SH refs like these two?

[2020 Six Nations] Scotland vs France (08/03/20)

What on earth? If Tuilagi deserved a red card yesterday - seeing a truly dangerous tip tackle only get a yellow - what is going on? Mike

[2020 Six Nations] England vs Wales (07/03/20)

SO 13 men beat 15 plus the ref - not bad going. The red was ridiculous - it was a fast moving collision and unless Rugby cn somehow defy the simple laws of physics, it will often happen - there was an earlier collisoin when Alun Wyn Jones and an England player - can't remember who - clashed...

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

Well done, South Africa - a totally deserved win. Can't remember the last time I saw an England scrum dismantled so comprehensively that it was embarrassing. At 82 I don't expect to be around next time, so this was my last chance to see England lift the trophy again Mike

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

The scrums are already uncontested to all intents - but it's only England who aren't contesting. Daley having his worst game for a while, but he's not alone - mistake after mistake. All praise to SA they are bossing tis Mike

    [RWC2019][Semi-Final 1] England vs. New Zealand (26/10/2019)

I’m still pinching myself -not only did England win in line with my hopes but against my expectations, but the score line flattered the All Blacks to a considerable degree. The first disallowed ‘try’ the TMO got it absolutely right, but the second? It is surely debatable? After all, George had...

    [RWC2019][Quarter-Final 3] Wales vs. France (20/10/2019)

I wish I could agree with you, but having watched both of yesterday's qurter-finals, I cannot honestly see England beating the All Blacks - but I would love to be wrong Mike

    [RWC2019][Pool C] Round 2 - Argentina vs. Tonga (28/09/2019)

Talk about a game of two halves. Worried that Argentina cut Tonga to pieces early on, remembering how long England took to get going against them Mike

    [RWC2019][Pool C] Round 2 - England vs. USA (26/09/2019)

That last minute try needlessly conceded really irritates me - imagine the scenario (admittedly pretty unlikely). England's last match is against France. They meet, both having three victories behind them and the match is a draw, with them level on match points including bonus points at the end...

    [RWC2019][Pool C] Round 2 - England vs. USA (26/09/2019)

What was Daley thinking about - the hooter had gone, he was in space in his own half - all he had to do was kick it out. Game over 45-0. Instead he tries to show off and the result is a try to USA, something that they hadn't looked like achieving all game MIke
