Nothing Farrell would have done better than Ford today other than nail that long kick possibly, the pack lost us the game. They got destroyed. Not just beaten by French pack but destroyed. Our backs showed that when they get ball in hand they are still quality players but our pack is nowhere...
Really hope Cips/Slade get a chance to go to the WC, we need two creative options. Ford looked so much better with a second pair of eyes and hands next to him. Twelvetrees is ****, such a backwards Lancaster selection. George did well from his 2nd lineout onwards, I'd give him chance to start...
I have no idea how any group of professionals can go away for a training camp that long and look so poor regardless of who is at 2 or 4/5. It has been a problem though since 6Nations, today has been tragic though.
Ah right, it must be someone elses fault. Launchbury, Robshaw all jump as well so why has Youngs been missing them (or not throwing it straight, not sure how that can be Courtney's fault unless he is telling him to do that).
Breakdown is as big an issue though. We have no presence there what...
Hartley is better than Youngs, he gives more shove in the pack and his set piece throwing is a million miles ahead of Youngs. Youngs has also made a couple of handling errors, so it isn't like he is a demon around the park he just has a high work-rate (which I am told is the reason we pick both...
Jamie George should come on now. **** waiting till half time, Youngs has been appalling. He is meant to be good in the loose but his sole contribution there was falling over.
Good job terrible old Dylan has been banned. Have England hit a line-out since his ban yet? Tom Youngs couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, and less said about LCD the better in terms of his darts.
Our pack is getting murdered here.
Robshaw and BV both dropped deep to cover kicks which is not a standard system. Also not sure how Goode's positioning is 'shocking' on that Ireland score.
BV does not do that as standard, Robshaw much more likely to. No my point is that Goode was fall man but other players much worse than him who was good.
BV didn't/doesn't do that often for England but did in 2nd half of Ireland game, I agree Nowell wasn't targeted specifically but he did struggle more than Goode against Ireland.

What happened there then? (Also note kick went up into Nowell's area as I said, with BV standing next to him).
Will they be effective though? England demand so much work from their back row, can a player put that shift in and then go to 8?

Goode wasn't kicked at much against Ireland, went after Nowell who had BV stood next to him in 2nd half to help with kicks. Goode was minimum...
Goode was great against Ireland, although most on here will pretend he wasn't.
I am not sure I like Vunipola/Morgan both starting, means we have an average player coming off bench at 8 then (Haskell/Easter/Wood).
