South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 3

Pretty sure the rolling maul almost over the line, except for Curry detaching and wrestling someone off the ball was more of a certain try. Both poor for different reasons though.

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 3

Should be a pretty straight forward win for the Lions this one.

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 3

If Gatlands plan was pretty much ignore back play and just be good defensively Well I'm not even sure he does like Davies. Given that he will have had 0 minutes in the 3 tests even after Murray has been pretty poor.

I'm confused. Wyn Jones has been poor? the guy hasn't played and was the form player in his position pre tour. All backs aside Henshaw you don't seem to like? What exactly has Adams/Aki/Williams done to make you so against them. Who would you have started?

Lol, Gatland is that you? Asking for forum help?

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 3

I think the SA team gives the lions a bit of a boost. I think alot thought Duane would be back, and no FAF is certainly helpful.

The fact Beirne won't have started a test is really sad. The man is immense and would have been one of my first names on the sheet. He can literally do it all.

One of the clear 'misses' was a 5m ball straight to Lawes hands and he spilled it. :s But most of the comments were putting down Owens rather than saying Lawes the impeccable ****** up.

Not sure why there is all the astonishment for Ken starting. Coming into the tour most people picked him as the starter. But he's ended up with 10 mins gametime in the first test and 20 mins in the last where the whole Lions team was getting steamrolled.

I'm pretty sure after the way the SA maul destroyed the Lions in the last 20 Beard is pretty much solely there to help with that situation towards the end of the game, as its probably his best skillset. That being said, personally I'd rather play to your own strengths than defensively just try...

British and Irish Lions Test decider

I can predict Hogg will drop the ball.

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 2

I'd be fuming if I got cited due to 8 pixels worth of zoomed in totally inconclusive evidence.

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 2

I think the main one for me is the Kolbe clear red for head to head contact. Had he broke Curry's nose he'd have been off there and then, but somehow because no damage was done it just goes un punished.

Pretty pointless even discussing it considering there is no footage that actually shows a bite.

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 2

Problem with Biggar is he poses no running threat. So the Boks just pretty much ignored him and blitz'd the next receivers and we kept losing ground with the backs. Logic would say play some grubbers in behind to make them think twice. But the only plan was up and unders.

There again you can't expect any logic out of a citing commission.

I've never really understood how people can possibly assess leadership. Ever single game one team loses, it doesn't mean the captain of said team had no leadership. How does one measure this facet and why would good leadership mean your team just 'wins'? Personally I think leadership has a very...

No I'd start Wyn and drop Mako to the bench. Sutherland has had a shocker.

South Africa vs British and Irish Lions - Test 2

Could well be something there, but at the same time there have also been clear easy catches an international shouldn't think twice about.

Is there an update on Wyn Jones? He'd be a huge upgrade if he was fit.
