Oddly enough, all the South Africans I talk to tend to complain about the derby matches in Super Rugby. They claim it is too similar to the Currie Cup, and hence, not as important as playing the Kiwis.

Also in NZ, I think. I am thinking solely of timezones. NZ-AUS is just more convenient. I also believe that North Americans, like myself, would have a harder time getting into a NZ-RSA competition. Although, I am aware that it probably wouldn't matter to y'all.
