I can't wait to see the new season, I've missed Super rugby a lot.

I know the schedule has been done to cut down on jetlag on teams so they play at full strength but I myself hate it. Playing the same team twice and the chance of playing it a 3rd time in Finals bores me. I would much rather see us play the Rebels.

LOL, I am going to save this post somewhere. Don't underestimate those Lions. You should still beat them, especially at home but don't take it for granted.

Definately. Only the Aussies win in the new format. For my part, the Stormers have already faced the Sharks in a warm-up match, will face them twice in the S15, possibly in the QF again and then 2 times again in the Currie Cup and likely once more in the play-offs of the CC. And I thought the expanded 3N meant facing the same opponents too much.

I would prefer the 3N to be held only the years after and before a RWC with old-school tours in between, although a shortened one in RWC year and superrugby should be about facing everyone but only once.

From a SA point of view I like the new schedule, less travelling.
More local derbies might get boring on TV, but get yourself to the matches and really enjoy the atmosphere.

and yes, there is no logic of having a Tri Nations in a World Cup year - but do you really think the broadcasting companies care about player burnout/injuries.
With the rate things go we will end up like Grid-Iron football and have teams replacing teams mid game
