Some nice pieces in there. Viktor Kolelishvili has been a revelation as of late for Clermont, a powerful flanker who fits the modern needs perfectly. Always a nice set of props in there, including young Chilachava a true Toulon product from the academies and has impressed this year in the scrum. NICE for this young a TH, promising promising, wish he were French...
Not familiar with the backs at all though, and have no idea what can be expected of them.

Indeed I've noticed some unfortunate absences, particularly Zirak (who speaks FLUENT french btw, almost no accent, very impressive..) the giant teddybear and Gorgodze, another giant (but certainly uhm.. no teddy bear...). Will be missing those as Zirak is more than just an excellent scrummager.

Not familiar with the backs at all though, and have no idea what can be expected of them.

Backs has never been the forte of Georgia, but we are beginning to see young players with high potential.
Especially inside centre Merab Sharikadze, born 1993, capped by Georgia at 18.
He played for Hartpury College and Gloucester U19 between 2011 and 2013 and he plays in ProD2 since 2013 (currently for Aurillac)
One of the most georgian talented back ever, both in attack and defense.

In another note, Tamaz Mchedlidze (1.95m, 110kg) also born in 1993, is a strong winger, who can also play centre or backrow.
He played for Mont-de-Marsan during the 2012-2013 Top14 season, he started 5 Amlin Cup game and played a Top14 game at only 19.
During the same season he makes his debut for Georgia. He currently plays for Agen.

Other promising young players are winger Muraz Giorgadze and fullback Giorgi Aptsiauri (both born 1994), scrum half Vazha Khutsishvili (born 1993) and even if he is not in the squad, fly half Revaz Jinchvelashvili (born in 1995) who maked his debut for Georgia in 2013 at only 17 years old.

Other backs in the squad also played at professional level, Lasha Malaguradze played in ProD2 for Beziers during the 2008-2009 season, utility back Sandro Todua played for Albi last 2 seasons (36 ProD2 games), while winger Irakli Machkhaneli played for various ProD2 teams between 2005 and 2009

Yes, Milton Haig (NZ) is the head coach, assisted by Michael Bradley (Ireland) and Dider Bès (France) is the forward coach.
From this November, Calvin Morriss (England) joined the staff as strength and conditioning specialist. He worked with English national rugby team from 2003 to 2012.

it's hard to keep track of everything unfortunately in the Rugby world but I'm interested in this Georgian side. I watched the last Georgia Samoa when the home side won, they looked pretty good in that game.
And yeah as the cliché goes Gerogia is all props, or forwards, and no backs. But a 1m95 110kg winger, damn !...
