[2015 RWC] Pool D: France vs. Ireland (11/10/2015)

Only **** bit is Schmidt will be headhunter by All Blacks now.

Don't think that's anything to worry about really, they typically look for coaches from within Super 15 and their own set up, that's why Rennie will be favorite to take over when Hansen leaves. I'm sure they've been fully aware of how good Schmidt is for a while anyway.

what a lesson from ireland, and it could have been much worse. All Saint Andre's tactics reduce to an obvious fail, 4 years of waste. France and england have so much in common this year, if we had found ourselves with wales and australia, idk if we would have ended with more points than fidji

The Irish are awesome.Making a decent French side look very average at best.France only managed to get into their 22 once,in the 58th minute.Even then Ireland nicked their ball from the lineout.I don't think any side is going to look forward to playing the boys in green.I wouldn't bet on them not making the final even without O'Connell and Sexton.

Ireland was amazing, well deserved victory! And so we are now, 8 years after that night in Cardiff...COME ON YOU, ALL BLACKS!

Are you serious? Centres (excluding Earls error) have been very good. Madigan playing very good.

Time for guys like POM Best and Heaslip to step up as true leaders now and steer it home.

Damn. I was talking ********. Time to get optimistic . YEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOO!

One thing that has not been mentioned is the unbelievable support that travelled and were heard for the Irish!! Brilliant!

if you dont contest the line out you are never going to win any ball the Irish did and nicked plenty thank you PSA for these previous 4 years of s***, time to go home and see whats down the JOB CENTRE.

Awww for f**ks sake add Sean O'Brien to the list of the fallen. He will be banned for the rest of the world cup for that. Jesus, what the hell was he thinking?

Well I thought Henshaw was brilliant. Earls was very good. He isn't a 13 long term (or maybe he will if he steps up) but for this RWC he's our 13 and he did play very good. Henshaw and Earls made the 2 French lads be anonymous and that's no easy gig.
We've discovered also that there is at least 15 guys in my eyes all up to a very high standard in the pack.
Am trying to find out on Munster lads. POC definitely looking at months. Pom will be iffy I think. And Sexton IF it's concussion may be made sit out until the new year

I'm very happy. Based on the last 2 or 3 years we're about 10 points better than the French, so it's a good result, particularly in a World Cup environment.

Onto Argentina now.

Bye bye Seanie!

I think Seanie may get off. Was it a red? Maybe but could be argued it's s yellow.

Maybe we'll be sniffing around (arrogantly)

Well done Ireland, you truly deserve it. A loss is painful, but at least we still have a chance, albeit tiny. Bring on the All Blacks and see what happens...
