Going to get another Brumbies result here. Tanaka isn't good enough. Him and Sopoaga combination is not good enough.

Hope this proves my point from earlier asutingtir. Without our AB's we're a shadow of the team we are.

Also outrageous player from Skudder. I wish that loser MotherRucker1 was here to try claim he's not WC worthy.

TMO wrong again. While the hurricanes would of scored eventually that was illegal. Just the same as the one Ben Smith did a few games back.


Its just ridiculous thats the game really the Highlanders have got no chance now. If they had held out there maybe they could work back into the game (I doubt it though). Seriously anyone that doesnt think the same thing is going to happen in important games in the WC has rocks in their head. This BS is going on in atleast two or three games every weekend!!!

There is nothing wrong with Tanaka this is a pure result of NOT giving these backup players enough games up till now.

And I havent really seen Tanaka and Sopoaga do anything hugely wrong so far. Its mostly the guys on the outside that are cocking this up. I like Marty Banks but he's been missing on defence not doing a good job of moping up... but to be fair to him he's had no starts this year and probably isnt an out an out FB against probably the equal most potent back three in the comp...

WOW, Tongia is the man.. He played well vs the Cheetahs, scored some good tries, deserves more game time and was ITM's top try scorer, great play twice now!

Sopoaga having a shocking kicking game. Once every blue moon he has a howler.

It's not that they do anything WRONG, it's that they don't do much at all and Banks is no Ben Smith.. that's for sure.

Its "only" Ben Smith and Fekitoa they are really missing. Now that Shaun Treeby is on I predict the second half will go a bit different. I dont think the Highlanders will win it but I hope they should be able to turn that thrashing in the first half around.

That imposter that was playing 13 for the HL was bloody terrible.

That to, doesn't mean we're not missing Smith as well. The leadership, play making, defense, kicking and intensity he brings to the game is unparalleled.

Woeful game. Not even a bonus point, don't know why we even bothered showing up. Gotta hope the Reds do us a favour against the Chiefs and Scott Eade doesn't deserve a professional contract.

We possibly just blew a home quarter!!!! Rubbish effort. The Hurricanes will play a weak team vs the Chiefs next week. FFS Landers...

Emery was a revolving door on D and banks wasn't even a door, two trys you can see him just get passed around and he's on his knees in the back ground without having laid a hand on

My biggest problem with Joseph is his problem with baker, he's played buckman, emery, banks and god knows how many others at 15 when BS is off...when we have an actual fullback in the squad

Comes down to the two worst players on the pitch were in two of the key defensive positions and the canes are lethal

Yeah, I think naholo was coming in field to try and cover emery's poor efforts (and I am an emery fan) leaving banks to cover the the wing...which was a bad decision

I dunno, I felt it started with the center combination not working right. Naholo was caught alot trying to cover that imo. It was compounded by when the canes did break on the outside the cover was useless and the fullback misread what was happening alot so everytime they made huge meters or scored.

Also you gotta give credit where its due. Milner Skudder/Savea are damn near unstoppable when they get going properly and the Highlanders gave them plenty of opportunities.

Naholo's defense is very bad

Compared to? His tackle completion rate is good for most wingers. Better than: Lowe's, Savea's, Gear's, Nanai-William's, Tuitavake's, Nadolo's, McNicholl's, Halai's, Batham's, Folau's, Naiyaravoro's, Tongia's, Osbourne's, Turner's, Mogg's, Tomane's, Cummin's etc, etc, defense in terms of tackle percentage...In fact he's comfortably in the upper tackle completion rate for outside backs.

Out outside also have great turn over stats...as I said, caught having to cover the midfield
