George North's reaction was priceless when Clare Balding suggested that this was the Olympics of proposals. There and then I swear he'd have beaten Bolt. But serves him right for wearing a back to front baseball cap.
Just did some maths as someone on Facebook suggested we only won 37% of medals available on track. It's actually 79% when taking into consideration limited entrants.
Whatever happened to Great British Values like plucky failure? Sad to see what our country has become

Don't know how you can pass off the controversy surrounding Semenya as "unnecessary" given how significant her advantage is.
Can you imagine the absolute slaughtering another athlete would get for having synthetically enhanced T levels as high as her?

But it's a disadvantage to her. She has been ridiculed since the Beijing Olympics. She underwent several tests and the conclusion is that she can compete. So why keep on hammering on the issue? It's not her fault she was born that way, just like it's not Michael Phelps' fault that he was born with massive feet...

She's done EVERYTHING the international bodies expected of her, including suffering incredible humiliation. Someone will have to test Bolt properly for hormones, as he CLEARLY has a huge unfair advantage..... How about Caster's also a very good athlete???Otherwise Bolt must be injecting SOMETHING taking his winning margins into consideration? The UK and USA can't win everything you know!

I feel for her and TBH it's a bit inspiring to see all the crap she goes through all because of something she has no control over and to carry on competing at such a level despite knowing no matter what happens people will still humiliate her.
