Pro 14 award night and the winners are

Bill Mata -Player's Player of the Season

Kieran Crowley - Coach of the Season Award

Ross Ford - Chairman's award

James King - Tackle Machine Award

Jaco van der Walt - Golden Boot

Tian Schoeman - Ironman Award

Olly Robinson - Turnover King Award

Rabz Maxwane - Top Try Scorer

Adam Hastings - Next-Gen Star of the Season
 
No Leinster or Munster winners pretty much means this thread is going nowhere fast :D

Thought they would have managed to squeeze in Rory Best somehow in spite of his recent injury.
 
I think the only award that is chosen by a "selection panel" is the Chairman's award; otherwise the rest are selection by peers or stat based.

Hard to argue that anyone else should *definitely* be picked ahead of those named really.

Coach and next gen could of been a panel but also could of been voted for by their peers/media the rest were
Players player - voted by other players
Tackle machine - highest tackle % (with a minimum number of tackles made)
Golden Boot -highest kicking % (with a minimum number of kicks taken)
Ironman Award - player with the highest amount of playing time (1564min)
Turnover King - player with highest number of turnovers
Top Try Scorer -

Most are stat based so was unlikely to feature any provincal player due to lack of appearances and rotation but most there deserved there recognition for fine seasons.
Mata is a worthy winner
