I love that Highlanders kit. The Chiefs ones are OK, apart from that green monstrosity.

I actually like it. It's plain and simple. The away kit is a white one, but I can't seem to find a photo of it.

The thing is that it's more of a commemorative jersey to celebrate 80 years of Blue Bulls Rugby.

Fore some reason they chose a fan suggested design which includes some victorian buildings in Durban.

Do SA Super Rugby teams make singlets / training vests? The NZ and OZ teams do. I like to buy those because I can wear them socially or at the gym.

I'm sure they do, well sort of. I know most of the SA teams have a clothing store at the stadium and some have an online store.

Thank you. I haven't ventured into paying shipping for apparel from overseas yet so all of the rugby gear I have has been picked up by American rugby retailers. World Rugby Shop has all of the 2018 New Zealand Super Rugby jerseys and singlets (sharp) in stock! Probably because NZRU is 4 zillions times better at commercial relationships than SARU. But they have most Springbok stuff. Including the red jerseys which I like! And I agree with you, the Highlanders are the best dressed of the NZ Super squads (Blues ain't too bad).

Guys, I need to pick an SA Super Rugby team. I am leaning toward the Sharks or the Lions. I like the Sharks 2018 jerseys the best but Johannesburg is probably the most interesting city in South Africa. Something about the Stormers just doesn't do it for me and while I am excited about the Bulls under John Mitchell I doubt that I will choose them as my team.

Sunwolves will be my 2nd Super Rugby team. I have family there and will be attending the Waratahs game this spring.

Joburg is a nice city for South Africans because it's our biggest urban center with the only theme park, most casinos. Basically an enternaintment hub. But the people there are mostly depressed. The city ands it's surrounding areas are not in a pleasant environment. There is mine dumps everywhere and the traffic is hell. You will find the Lions supporters to be the cancer of most forums. Probably because they have to take out their inner rage on something.

On a side note I have been a la liga fan for most of my life but just to get into the premier league craze a few years ago I needed to pick a team to support also as a complete foreigner. The choice was based on what values the teams represent and where some of the players I really like are playing. Ended up choosing to support Tottenham Hotspurs because of the player growth policy and the presence of players such as Christian Eriksen / Bale/ Lamela . Young people with good potential. Not already vested stars
