2023-2024 transfers

I question his commitment to really make it in american football.
He's still young only 20 but he just lost a season of college ball.

He's still a complete novice to football relatively speaking. Redshirted then jumped ship from a school it must be noted has only sent 5 players to the NFL (admittedly one of them was Josh Norman). He might be seeing that international practice squad spot NFL teams have got and thinking he can ride that gravy train.

I wonder is he eyeing the XFL? If he doesn't get an NFL related spot it's likely going to be a financially bad decision.

Seems like he's a pretty young kid who's not entirely sure sure what he wants and is at risk of falling between two stools because of it.

Probably a down grade on White but I guess a financial choice as last year with full back swop situation.
Baxter eluded then it was a book balancing scenario.
Like ourselves at Saints losing Cobus we have a nice stock of young 9s so cant see us in Market for a new 9.

Well we are looking for a lock as an injury cover.
Moon gone,
Ribbans gone,
Courtney on England Duty.
Api banned.
Left to Bean and Coles.
Anyone bar Eddie got a spare.

meant that we had to play against a pretty much full strength Bristol pack with an u20 lock and an Academy quality lock. Tough times ahead!

Leinster Rugby hooker Bryan Byrne has joined Gallagher Premiership club Bristol Bears on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Carlow man has made 47 appearances for Leinster, scoring 12 tries.
He's a very skillful player and a good signing for Bristol. Sorry to see him leave but the opportunities were becoming limited. The path ahead of him at Leinster was blocked by internationals Ronan Kelleher, Sean Cronin and James Tracy.

Bryan Byrne to Bristol for the rest of the season.

Good move for all involved, Kelleher's emergence has meant his game time has dried up this season, Bristol are getting a decent hooker and Leinster are freed up to potentially give Dan Sheehan some time in the Pro14 this year.
