On paper I thought the moana pacifika team were slightly stronger, but the Maori seemed more connected, more on the same page, which is fairly typical for this team.

An enjoyable game for sure. Trasks non-try was a great, nz Maori like, try (almost). And proctors try too.

This may have come down to one position, hooker, Apisai did not have a good game with the line outs and MSR had a field day picking them off
