Except the rule was changed for super rugby Aotearoa, before the all blacks lost, it’s hilarious really. The calls for the rules around red cards to be removed has been going on for years, mostly since some years ago Ireland came down with a good team and we were all looking forward to a contest but heaslip got red carded early, completely ruining the game. Oh, the all blacks won that day, putting 50 plus points on Ireland. I’m in fits of laughter  I presume you didn’t watch super rugby Aotearoa? He was an absolute standout, At fullback, a million times better than he has been In any position at any level prior. So we can understand why he is picked, but There is only one fan that thinks He should be playing wing, and he has only played fullback So far this year when Beauden was at ten. Still probably deserves another chance At 15 given super rugby form. i think if you Ask players to do different things you will inevitably make the team worse off during their learning period. I’d rather they did their learning not during tests that were on the line, maybe at the ends of tests where we’d already won or against weaker opposition. It remains to be seen of course whether some of these new roles will prove to be good ideas at some point in the future, following the learning period. Some of it haS already worked, canes running in particular. And they gave Ardie a big lineout role in this last test and he performed well. He did play a big part in the lineout for the canes but he want all that good at it and cane is better but wasn’t used in this test, so that’s another area where they sacrificed in order to develop savea in that role. Akira stole a lineout too, another who you wouldn’t expect should have that role. In other words They went in to the test light on lineout options and then chose to use the two loosies who were the worst out of the three at lineout time, because they wanted to develop them oi, Settle down ok. Team for next week, not wanting to make too many changes: Bull allen Coles Lomax ***o Fifita Jerry Ardie Rodney Tj Beauden Jonah Laumape Smith Umaga Jordie off the bench we will have Cullen, nonu, Julian, Milne-skudder, cruden, Hosea gear, Cory jane, ieremia (Forwards are overrated)
