Congratulations Argentina! That was great.
Havent read/seen nz media tbh. Is this sort of reaction the norm?
Oh yes. Stuff (an NZ website) are probably foaming at the mouth today as well.

Apologies for the insistence, but this is such an inconvenient truth. Your point was spot on.
Ask here, in this very forum, show of hands:
1) how many people here have watched ANY of the pacific nations cup games this week?
2) How many people plan on watching any pacific nations cup games this month (include September)?
3) How many people could watch them (TV or local pub) if they actually wanted to?
3) How many people even knew the pacific nations cup was actually happening right now?
4) How many people were aware of the pacific nations cup existence?
People vote for the likes of Bill beaumont and Robinson and then pretend to be shocked when this is what happens.
/end rant.
Apologies.

Agreed, the sense of entitlement is insufferable. It's not 2015 anymore. Other teams are allowed to play great rugby. That's a big reason why I like the All Blacks losing. The attitude of the NZ media towards teams like Argentina is just snobbish and arrogant and it reeks of "you shouldn't be on the same pitch as us". It absolutely stinks. Just because rugby is the national sport doesn't give you a good given right to win everything - and what happened in the past is totally irrelevant to what's happening now. NZ media are stuck in a bygone age and they still think the All Blacks are untouchable. Their god-like superiority complex is just nauseating.
Quite. Imagine getting done over by an Eddie Jones team in a semi finalYoi could argue the All Blacks haven't been the best rugby team in the world for at least 8 years.

You got that right. They're still traumatized by Llanelli RFC and that was in 1972! The Lions' share of a century ago.NZ media are stuck in a bygone age
Don't worry Bozza is putting it together for England to dominate for the next 2 world cupsI think some struggle to accept that the era of AB dominance is gone. Rather than being THE team to beat, they are now simply one among a group of teams who can all beat each other. England, France, SA, Ireland and NZ all have the capability to beat each other when on form with others like Argentina able to cause an upset.. Scotland and Australia lack the consistency to beat all of them regularly but may have the number of one of them, eg Scotland have beaten England a lot recently.
