Hate to say this but I think Los Pumas could get smoked again here, but I hope not. Forfeiting home advantage for this match seems a ridiculous decision. Can't see anything but a Bokke win - probably by at least 15.

For the first time this season, no change in starting line-up from game to game (well almost true, Ox is in, but he was meant to start up until last Friday when he picked up a minor injury)

Any English posters got any recommendations for parking and then walking to Twickenham? I see we are likely having strikes again this weekend and keen to see if there are any suggested options.

I just hope the boys are still hangry. We all know how it goes for us when there is even just a 5% drop in murder-mindedness. Argentina will be out to make amends and will punish us if we pitch up and think that is all it will take to get past them.

Hey guys

Long time! Anyway, I'm in London this week and going to Twickenham tomorrow.

Question: Do they sell any Springbok merchandise at the stadium for this game?

Argentina selections:

9 changes to the 15 starting positions, but only 4 changes to the 23. Mostly a reshuffle between different positions and with the bench

Surprised no one noticed the tip tackle on Matera by Willemse

South Africa on their way to winning the Rugby Championship. Pulling away in the 2nd half against Argentina like they did last week.

Thank God it isn't New Zealand winning the competition.

Did I just jinx South Africa lol

edit. They hold on!

That whole Championship has been very competitive. In the end 1st place comes down to points difference, but South Africa's points difference of +57 has plenty to spare.

Congrats to South Africa for their first back-to-back Rugby Championships (in addition to RWCs), and Argentina go into the November tests with high expectations.

I imagine people will be talking about the decision to host that last game on neutral ground, given how close the score was

Argentina were robbed of 3rd place in my opinion, that Australia forward pass was worth 2 bonus points. Without them Australia would have finished on 9 points, and finished bottom.

To elaborate on this with some cherry-picking

South Africa's median game was a win by 5 points (midpoint of +8 vs Aus and +2 vs Arg)
New Zealand's average game was a win by 1.3 points (PD +8 ÷ 6 games)
Australia's average game was a loss by 2.2 points (PD -11 ÷ 6 games)
Argentina's median game was a loss by 3 points (midpoint of -4 vs Aus and -2 vs RSA)

We were very lucky this game I feel like. Kinda feel Argentina are still the last in line when it comes to "luck" if you know what I mean.

On the game it certainly wasn't a classic. The player I was most impressed with was the young Argentine tight head that came on as a sub. Certainly a player I'll be keeping an eye on.
