A Thursday and a Friday game... I am expecting our worst showing since 2020 next year so at least we have a schedule to match I suppose.

Thursday? What the **** is this woke nonsense

All set up nicely for a Grandslam decider in the final game of the tournament
They'll be in tatters when it's a jam slam finish between Ireland and Scotland whilst everyone else in on their way to the pub.

Deluded / Greatest timeline prediction:

France go into our game way over-emotional and not used to playing outside Paris, get two red cards trying to "avenge" Dupont, we stumble to a 4pt win.

Scotland Scotland England in round 2 and scrape by in underwhelming performances v Wales and Italy.

Ireland briefly return to the former glory years of only showing up for England and win by 11 in Twickenham.

France, have both lost interest and underestimate Scotland in round 4, throw an intercept in the 83rd minute whilst 6 up and chasing a potentially pivotal BP to lose.

Ireland beat Scotland because nothing unexpected ever happens in this fixture.

Record low views for a championship decider as Welsh, Italian, English and French fans are on their way to the pubs before their game comfortable in the knowledge they've seen the Ireland v Scotland story play out plenty of times before.

The deluded aspect of this is obviously Scotland not shooting themselves in all the limbs they possibly can at some point but otherwise seems semi possible.

Thursday because of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony...so you move one of your biggest games to a crap day for it to ensure negligible travelling support go.

There must have been a better solution than a Thursday match for the opening game. Really surprised France and Ireland agreed to it.

French TV likes Thursday Night matches I think, They had France play that night during the World Cup.

I think the same channel airs the Six Narions and Winter Olympics in France. And with France still in a Paris after glow and hosting 2030 it's probably going to get good ratings.

France given a helping hand from the organisers as usual with having their first and last game at home. Every year since 2019 we've been away and they've been at home in the last round. Absolute BS. The fixture scheduling is absolutely corrupt and driven by ratings, not by fairness or the integrity of the competition. A Thursday night game is a joke, and where is it?. Oh that's right, in France and against a team that would ordinarily bring a large travelling following. Hope we go over there and win the Slam in their own backyard and see how they like them apples.

England have 4 oit of 5 prime time slots, I doubt you'll get many hearts bleeding!
