A Political Thread pt. 2

Dear England,

Hello. I just wanted to send you a note of sympathy in regards to Donald Trump's visit to your fine country. First Scotland and now you. I think your island has suffered more than enough in 2025.

Sincerely,
The Seeker
I wouldn't worry, he's going to be locked up in the castle. And he won't be inflicted upon the public. Thank the Lord.

Not a tech expert or anything but doesn't AI infrastructure required vast amount of resources such as fresh water?
Not so much water as power, by a little ch in Scotland would have been a choice or the lake district. And they can in invest Rolls Royce SMB nuclear reactors

Suppose there is better transport infrastructure in the NE compared to the Lakes and Scotland?

According to Google, an AI search result uses approximately 10 times the power of a normal search. When you get into even more AI specific tasks, it gets worse.

As with all things, the ultimate end point of AI will be generating user specific porn to fulfil your every perversion.

Not sure if there is an equivalent of rule 34 where any time there is a new technology, someone will inevitably try to utilise it for porn.

If Deep Seek or any other AI company have intentions to build a contrarian WUM forum bot they should just feed all Harry's TRF posts into the algorithm and they'll have cracked it.

The crackdown on peaceful protest continues
Official crime of "disobeying a police order"

Official crime aggravated trespass according to the Met.

Give Led by Donkeys credit they are going after Labour as well as Reform and the Tories.

I do worry about the way we're heading. Maybe I'm getting too bummed out by what we're seeing in America but when I see thousands of people hanging off every word coming out of Yaxley Lennon's mouth in London it's hard not to be a tad concerned for the next election.

Remember the days when we used to have visceral reactions to the Con/Lib coalition with Cameron and Clegg? Well, **** me, that is looking mighty appealing when you think of a Badenoch/Fararge combo. Jesus. Throw Tommy Robinson in the mix and it's pretty much ****** at that point.

It's looking increasingly more likely that we could end up with a far right government especially if more Tory MPs deflect to reform. It's almost like people are becoming immune to the messaging from people like Farage and Robinson, years ago you would just dismiss someone like Nick Griffen out of hand but these anti immigration, anti woke, nationalist arguments are starting to land. I'm also not ruling out that there has been a concerted effort from foreign players to destabilise our nation through social media, false information (especially during COVID) and the use of private military contractors in certain parts of the world to create the migration crisis we are all seeing.

I don't know the answers but Trump and Orban feel like the start of this not the end.

Well well well..

Look who's half way to my position.

Now lets get you over the line, why do you think, as ive been saying for several years on here that the right are making inroads all over the west?

150k people to a Tommy Robinson formerly Stephen Yaxley Lennon would have sounded ridiculous 2019...

How do we return him to the gutter he was sniffing around back then?
