Agreed it's very hard to quantify and tourism is definitely just one part of it. Much of the land owned by the Royals isn't even registered at the Land Registry because it was never bought legitimately when they seized it many moons ago. They sent the heavies in and butchered any residents who refused to leave. You then look at modern day cash grabs like that new wind farm off the south coast of England that sees a load of income go straight to the crown. The crown also inherits the estate of any UK citizen who dies without any living relatives and a will.

Wealth inequality is biggest root cause of societal problems in this country but this is never the point of focus because the establishment would rather everyone talk about migrants staying in a Holiday Inn, TV adverts or Rachel's rental license.

I agree, but wealth inequality isnt necesarily a bad thing, its the level to which we have seen over the last decade or so, and the influence and input these people have on society.

From then UAE Al Nayhan and the human rights abuses, to Soros and Musk.

Just to add, doesnt Graham King earn about 3.5m per day from asylum hotel placements and due to his 10 year contract is rocketing up the rich list? Id say his, and any other labour work force, consumer or property billionaire would be pretty pro high immigration.

It may have financially worked to have minorities represented more than before, that's fine. What may happen is it swings the other way because minorities are so over represented it puts off the majority.

As I was saying it's a double standard. If we are saying it's wrong to notice the race of people in adverts, why are we saying it's ok to notice the lack of people of a certain race in adverts? I don't know about you but I find it difficult to believe that having a group that is 4% of the total demographic appearing in more than half of adverts really improves sales much more. I don't think it's racist to notice such a gulf in the difference between how many appear in media Vs how many you'd see in real life.

There are ESG ratings, which if a company wants to improve their score, theyll want to do it at the least cost for impact, usually the social element is the easiest to effect no? Im not into it too much, so not an expert.

Well I have to keep supplying the facts for you since you don't know them. As usual you make up facts by reading the toilet bowl and not backing anything up.

Take your own advice "I honestly think we need the nights / weekends off from the internet, a restriction on mobile phones, and certainly no social media, but christ im an orwellian hypocrit!"

But, instead of just weekends make it all time for yourself, bearing in mind this forum is social media you're against

Pretty tired of how the media are trying to talk about how the royalty and Charles have been "brutal" in their response to Andrew. FFS they've known about it for years and did nothing, hoping they could just sweep it under the carpet. Instead Andrew has now lost a title he did nothing to earn and has been left to live in abject luxury for the rest of his life that will still exceed what 99.9% of people experience. There is nothing ******* brutal or just about what's happened, it's the royals just trying to prevent public opposition from turning against the monarchy as a whole. If they actually cared, this would all have happened years ago before public pressure grew as much as it did.

I've never liked the idea of the monarchy but accepted it, now I outright despise it. We really should bin it off.

It's staggering isn't it. He's relocating to Sandringham where he'll have his own house "funded by Charles" (lol). It's nauseating how they're praising Charles leadership. Granted he didn't create this mess but he's only starting to take action because it's been forced by Virginia's suicide and book. They clearly tried to brush it under the carpet and he's now suddenly 'on the side of the victims'.

No doubt Charles' grant will be increased to cover any costs. Do they think we were born yesterday? The actions taken so far aren't even close to what should be happening. The met need to re-open their investigation with Randy Andy facing the full force of the law like any other sex offender would.

Why do something like that when you can instead go after people for saying nasty things online and try covering up your own scandals?.

Out of interest what crimes has he actually committed?

No criminal accusations have been made and Guiffre sued in a civil case and settled when she was paid off.

All we have are the unsubstantiated words and claims of a dead woman.

Her being dead is irrelevant. She accused him of having sex with her while she was a minor which as far as I know this is still a criminal offence even if it was settled as part of a civil case. The met investigation needs to be re-opened in light of the evidence in her book and what she told family and friends. The whole thing stinks. Everyone knows he's guilty and he should be subject to the same investigation as any member of the public would be. The FBI also wanted to talk to him but he refused to go over. TACO needs to release the files so that they can crack on and nail all the nonces.

She was above the age of consent in all three alleged "incidents"

Slight issue is if everyone knows his guilty a good defence would argue it's impossible to have a fair trial. The witness/victim can't be cross examined. I'm not really sure how you could manage it. Are age of consent is 16 so he's not guilty of USI here.

Best solution is we extradite him to the US but that isn't happening. Not sure we would even if they requested it. I doubt the UK police will investigate him for offences in another country unless they have really credible new info that they can corroborate.
