BBC News - Kidlington fly-tipping: Criminals dump mountain of waste in field - BBC News

How the hell does this happen without anyone noticing? Also how can it be preferable to dump waste like this rather than simply binning it like usual? God this country is going to the dogs...

I worked for a council once and fly tipping was such a big problem. Dozens of calls everyday and costs the council a fortune. I remember thinking at the time I might as well quit and start a fly tipping removal service who charge the council an arm and a leg.

Interesting, and then your fly tipping removal service could fly tip into another council and you then get paid for that too. being paid to dig holes then fill them in.

Simple answer as always money. Trade waste equals wastes carriers licence, waste transfer notice etc.
Lot of the large tips are now private run so getting rid of tons of waste is expensive.

Education of the public who should check the man and van is legit. Not just some friendly fella you found on free ads or knocked you door talking about tree felling or getting rid of waste for 50 quid.

This will go down well for some in Labour. More off to the greens it is then. Not a great week for the government

She is expected to say: '"If you don't like this, you won't like what follows me."

BBC News - Record settler attacks in West Bank opening up rifts within Israel

This is just further evidence that Israel aren't innocent when it comes to acts of terrorism.

From a country before party standpoint i think this makes a bit of sense, an attempt to dissuade people from spending life savings and hopping on rubber boats across shipping lines...

But sadly this isnt that, its an attempt to quel the right, and it wont work.

Appeasing them wont win them over, and it will anger your base.

However at this point, whats left of Labours base, they are on a Tory nose dive
