And so the new season limps into view...

Once again SL limps somewhat forlornly into a stuttering start. No big bang... no coordinated splash... not much of anything to be honest. I give you...

    ROUND 3 Fri 6 Feb
    Leeds Rhinos v Celtic Crusaders

    ROUND 2 Sun 8 Feb
    Harlequins RL v Bradford Bulls

    ROUND 17 Sun 8 Feb
    Wigan Warriors v Wakefield Wildcats

    Round 1 actually starts 13/14/15th FEB. <_<

Personally I'd start the season with the WCC and then have ALL clubs kick off the new season on the same weekend and try to maximise publicity.

  3. Like it used to be until the Aussies threw their dummy out you mean?

I will be doing a podcast later this week previewing the Super League season.

    Game postponed.

Moving a SL game so that Quins can play Manly in a friendly was a disgrace anyway as far as I'm concerned. At least the game has been postponed in enough time to stop the Bulls fans making the wasted journey down south.

Can anybody tell me if Wigan's game against Wakey will be on Sky Sports?

    No it's not being televised.

  7. So now the next Aussie excuse for a WCC loss will be lack of match practice.
