    Hey, my friends,

I know this is an odd question, but what’s with the water bottles they all use in European rugby? Is there some reason squirting water horizontally into your mouth is advantageous compared to, you know, drinking water normally?

    Thanks as always!

    As above,
Easier to drink with a gum shield in and you don't worry about other people's spit and blood the nozzle

Nothing worst than seeing a teammate gob in a water bottle because he can't drink it without half of the water going back into it, then passing to you.
