Tickets booked... got them yesterday... up in the gods (Tribuna Tevere Alta) at the stadium... flying out to Pescara (other side of Italy)... basically because it was £68 from Ryanair...(but it is on a Thursday and returning Tuesday)... bus across the boot and then a 2 bedroom flat near the coliseum from Friday to Tuesday.... So several questions really. Who's going... is there any 'pre-event' or 'post-event' gatherings... if so, where? Is there any recommendations for good places to watch the Saturday matches? Be nice to meet a few people on the 'no wives, just rugby and bars ...possibly a bit of culture' tour of Rome!

Not going to the game but can really recommend "The Highlander" pub for the other games - was in Rome during the 6N two years ago and watched games there. Great atmosphere, lots of beer, hot dogs and the Italian news was there interviewing people as well.

Me and the Mrs are going. The plan at the moment is to have a few pre game beers in The Flann O'Brien on Via Nationale as its right by our hotel. Will probably then move on to The Albert on Via Del Traforo. Both those are close to Metro stations to catch the metro up to Flaminio and then the tram to the ground from there.

Plans may well change though if I hear of anything better!
