I'm sure this has been discussed many times on the forum, but anyway, I just need to vent my frustration after buying RL26 and dealing with the awful rucks in Rugby 08.
Let me explain.
I think, like everyone here, I’ve played most of the rugby games on the market—from Rugby 08 to the Lomu series and the Challenge games, or even some surprisingly entertaining management sims like Rugby Champions.
But we don’t have many options other than simply hoping that some major developer will give it a shot (which isn’t going to happen given rugby’s popularity and the potential buyer base), but I don’t know… I was blown away by an Android game called world soccer champs (and I don’t even follow soccer), and I think that simple format could be incredibly addictive in a rugby game—plus, it seems substantially easier to program for someone who knows what they’re doing, and I’d love to see every possible league within a single game.
I don’t know—I can’t really propose anything since I don’t have any money, let alone any idea how to write a single line of code… But hey, maybe throwing out an idea will be useful to someone—who knows.
