Australia in South Africa

and Kallis does indeed convert to 3 figures, De Villiers is going along on 31 as well so that partnership could well see SA build a substantial lead by the close of play, currently 395-3

Australia may have picked up 3 wickets today but South Africa have taken their lead to over 300 and De Villiers has become the 3rd South African in this innings to make a century.

South Africa completed an innings win over Australia to take the 3rd test in Capetown despite the best efforts of Mitchell Johnson who finally got his century having missed out in the first test.

So that's 6 tests and 3 wins apiece, not much between these sides, would be nicer to have 4 or 5 test series between sides of this calibre.

Great win by SA, **** knows why they didn't play like this in the 1st two test matches...

On to the Twenty20s and ODI's now, hopefully SA can win atleast 1 of the Twenty20 games

yeah bit more riding on the Twenty20 games with the world cup coming up in June, is Botha going to continue as 1 day skipper?

already more interesting things going on in this game than in the England match, quality opening over from Steyn and now Parnell has Clarke out in the second.

Morkel comes into the attack and then takes the wicket of Ponting, Botha's not bad at this 1 day captaincy malarky.

let off for Warner having been given not out off the run out, very marginal call definitely given benefit of the doubt on that call.

swings and roundabouts as ever between these 2 sides, partnership now building between Warner and Hussey.

should be an Australian win now that Morkel is out, some quality hitting by him though throughout that innings to bring SA back into contention.

21 needed off 2 overs, you feel the momentum is with Australia now after getting that Morkel wicket, SA must be sick of the sight of Mitchell Johnson.

all back to SA now, following the penultimate over with Boucher stepping up to the mark.

Sensible cricket though is not going to win this.

and indeed sensible cricket doesn't win it as Boucher just needs 2 boundaries to finish the job for SA, great stuff and quality effort from Morkel to drag SA back into it, great effort as well from Hussey in his innings and some key wickets as well.

Hope the match on Sunday is as good.

Bracken again proving his worth for Australia at this level, bowled beautifully in the match against NZ, going for a few more runs but picking up the wicket of Gibbs, might be the difference between winning and losing for Australia.

that's an interesting stat right at the end, 50 dot balls for Australia in that SA innings, you'd think they're a bit short defending 157, you'd back the Aussies from here.

SA wrap up the series with a 19 run win, didn't catch most of the Australian innings, saw they were 52-2 at one stage so quite a collapse not to get the job done.

Quiet start for Australia in Durban, only 20-1 after 7 overs of the first powerplay.

Clarke is not an opener, he doesn't look comfortable in the position, maybe they should let Dave Hussey open with Haddin

I think he looked comfortable when opening against NZ granted there's a slight difference in bowling attacks in terms of outright pace but throughout that series they were getting the ball in the right areas and Clarke still played quite well, I'd keep him there for the minute with Hadden, definite potential in that partnership.
