Bit of rotation in the Sale side:

Mike Haley, Will Addison, Jonny Leota, Sammy Tuitupou, Tom Arscott, Joe Ford, Will Cliff, Alberto de Marchi, Shalva Mamukashvili, Vadim Cobilas, Nathan Hines, Andrei Ostrikov, Magnus Lund, David Seymour (c), Mark Easter

Replacements: Marc Jones, Eifion Lewis Roberts, Ross Harrison, Jonathan Mills, Josh Beaumont, Chris Cusiter, Danny Cipriani, Mark Cueto

Looking forward to seeing Cliff get some more time, he's been our best 9 so far this season. Also Ford getting a start, be interested to see how the two of those get on.
Real test of whether Di Marchi was worth signing - most of his game time has been playing with either Eifion or Harrison at tighthead, so hard to say whether he's scrummaging well - he's not getting a chance alongside a fit/fresh/on form Cobilas.
Great to see Arscott back, Jennings is unlucky to drop out of the 23 entirely, think he offers more from the bench than Cueto.

Hope Itoje and Spencer get 30 mins each, really want 5 points from this but last week was poor and we have been awful this year.

Most likely another thrashing on the cards for LW. This can't be doing their self confidence much good.

I really think Burgess at thirteen is ill-advised, and I don't think he's ready to start a big game in any position. This is Welford Road, not a disinterested Montpellier second team. Have some damn patience, he isn't going to make the 6N so let's focus on his long-term future...in the back row. I really am starting to worry that his continued selection could compromise the team, and picking him in a new position to start is potentially suicidal. It feels like the marketing department are making these decisions ahead of the coaches.

Think Burgess might be forced.

I reckon Joseph has a bit of a knock if you ask me. He limped off quite badly against Exeter.

I'm sure, but either of Devoto or Eastmond playing out of position would be a better temporary patch than Burgess, I mean you've got two proven Premiership class centres sitting on the bench (granted, one probablyt carrying a knock) while someone who hasn't played thirteen before and isn't even thought of as a centre by the club is starting. Against a good side who will be out for revenge. Even Banahan would be a better call, he's at least played there a bit before.

Saints v Newcastle free on BT Sports (413 on Sky)! Seems to be the regular Friday night gift..................

Tigers:
Tait; Scully, Goneva, Allen, Benjamin; Williams, B. Youngs (c); Ayerza, T Youngs, Balmain; Kitchener, Parling; Gibson, Salvi, Crane.
Replacements: Ghiraldini, Rizzo, Pasquali, De Chaves, Barbieri, Harrison, Burns, Bai.

Bath:
Watson; Agulla, Burgess, Eastmond, Banahan; Ford, Cook; James, Webber, Wilson; Hooper (c), Attwood; Garvey, Louw, Fearns
Replacements: Batty, Auterac, Thomas, Day, Houston, Young, Devoto, Joseph

So Burgess is facing Goneva

Saints getting away with murder at the breakdown compared to Falcons getting whistled off the park for the most marginal calls.

Man, that was some try from Falcons!
They've really got some great players coming through - Welsh getting promoted this season has been a blessing for them, they can try out a lot of youth and try out a new playing style with no danger of relegation if it doesn't work out.
Exciting future ahead for them!

Can't believe how Falcons are playing this second half - dreadful defence! They must be able to see how dangerous Saints are with the ball, especially after the Tigers game in December.

Welcome to the forum Steffi.

Dafuq is going on this game!? This is crazy.
