Aviva Premiership - Round 17

That's mental!
Never heard that before, but fair play it's in the rules.

I bet Wade didn't know about it either, to be fair

Never heard that before either... can't quite understand the logic, but fair do's?!

Barritt looks badly injured.

Edit: but he's moving now however doesn't look too good for him.

This has got to be the worst pitch in the Premiership atm - that semi-artificial one cant arrive soon enough

Well crap. Brad Barritt and Owen Farrell have been out for far too long, now Brad is out again. Now we are going down to Racing with our two main backs out, Farrell won't be back for another 10 weeks apparently :( Positives for us are that Itoje is looking first team quality at 4/5/6. Wray has been really good and has given us another option to Vunipola so now we have a few carrying options. On the game today we done well getting away from the Ricoh with 4 points and leaving Wasps empty handed.

Yeah...on reflection its the same principle as when you dot the ball down in the corner...the rule says that you can place the ball half on the touch-line and half in the in-goal area - but as long as the ball touches both simultaneously, the try will be awarded. As long as its not actively hit touch BEFORE its hit the in-goal.

It's awful, but only for a couple more months......

Yup,
Like i said - new turf can't come soon enough. That scrum 5 at the end of the game after Ashton was held up over the line was hilarious - Sarries tried to get a shove on but ended up just digging deeper and deeper in, they were basically up to their mid-calves by the time the ball was out
