If Saints can't beat Sale without the WC contingent, I suspect the [strike]Bullshit[/strike] IRB windows are going to make my season ticket seem like a very expensive bit of bog roll.

Pfffffffffft

Have you not heard? There's a "revolution" in the North West? :p

Our scrum is going to get absolutely torn a part - will be interesting to see how the rest goes - lineout has been going well with Myall controlling it instead of Gaskell, and I think Sam Tuitupou will feature (probably from the bench) so hopefully Tonks is back at FB :p

Very glad that this is being televised anyway :D

This is not just Sharks-Saints... This is not just Sale-Northampton... This, this is the match match that revolves around 2 of TRF's biggest assets: Olyy and Teh Mite!

Sorry... Was talking to a friend at the same moment who lives close to Nottingham (Long Eaton) and about plans to visit in November... Mixing the 2 up in the process... I see now I was talking about Northampton to him haha

Fixed it now ;)

Mark Easter vs his old club and Christian Day vs his (much) old(er) club :p

I'm tempted to make mocking acronyms at that selection, but I know what always happens when a player who I call **** plays against Saints...

They've got more players away than you I do believe. They've got a hooker as their back-row sub. Their props are still in nappies and they've got a 19 year old winger at inside centre.

There's no excuses if Saints don't win this. Except maybe the absence of Lee Dickson.

Lee Imiolek was 21 2days ago and Henry Thomas is 19......
I think Marc Jones is only about 22/23 as well

Sale are missing 10 at the WC (plus a few out injured)
Saints are missing 8 (don't know if they've any out injured that would be playing)

That's kind of my point.

On the plus side, Scouse-Tiger-Arse has predicted a Sale win. If Guscott says the same it's almost a surefire thing of an away win!

Yeah, misunderstood you. Scouse-Tiger-Arse?

I don't plan on being nice to that Green, Red and White, one eyed cretin

Everrrrr

YYYYEEEESSSSSSSS
Sale Sharks 29 - 21 Northampton Saints

David Seymour outstanding, Peel quality, Henry Thomas a beast in the loose

Saints unlucky to lose two to the bin, but can't argue with the cards - Dowsons was for the exact thing Peels was, and Clarks was a clear barge on Macleod

Saints were unlucky not to get more penalties from the scrum, to be honest
I was very surprised/delighted when we won a few penalties from the scrum (1 at the start and a few towards the end)
