Both sides could be easily coming into this on the back of defeats but managed to scrape the wins on the opening win.

Biarritz looked more comfortable but were never able to kill off Glasgow and ultimately could have been turned over in the end but for some poor decision making.

This weekend Biarritz could put themselves in control of the group with the win over Gloucester.

You'd expect Biarritz to continue their recent good form and be too strong for the inconsistent Gloucester.

Biarritz: 15. Marcelo Bosch, 14. Takudzwa Ngwenya, 13. Arnaud Mignardi, 12. Damien Traille, 11. Nicolas Brusque, 10. Julien Peyrelongue, 9. Dimitri Yachvili, 1. Fabien Barcella, 2. Benoit August, 3. Campbell Johnstone, 4. Jérôme Thion, 5. Pelu Taele, 6. Magnus Lund, 7. Samiu Vahafolau, 8. Imanol Harinordoquy

Replacements: 16. Romain Terrain, 17. Eduard Coetzee, 18. Mosese Moala, 19. Manuel Carizza, 20. Wenceslas Lauret, 21. Valentin Courrent, 22. Ayoola Erinle, 23. Laurent Tranier

Gloucester: 15. Tom Voyce, 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. James Simpson-Daniel, 12. Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu, 11. Lesley Vainikolo, 10. Nicky Robinson, 9. Dave Lewis, 1. Alasdair Dickinson, 2. Scott Lawson, 3. Greg Somerville, 4. David Attwood, 5. Will James, 6. Akapusi Qera, 7. Andy Hazell, 8. Gareth Delve

Replacements: 16. Darren Dawiduik, 17. Paul Doran-Jones, 18. Pierre Capdevielle, 19. Jake Boer, 20. Rory Lawson, 21. Tim Molenaar, 22. Carlos Spencer, 23. Freddie Burns

Think they drafted him in about a week ago back from SA to fill in during their injury crisis.

I'm glad to see Bosch getting decent game time as fullback, and that Imanol Harinordoquy is back playing #8 (Vahafolau is a fine flanker, he reminds me of Schalk Burger). They will need to sort out some minor inconsistency in the scrum, notwithstanding.

I sense Biarritz will struggle but they will eventually come through, especially if Gloucester doesn't score early in the game.

Ah they've clawed two back now, 70-30. Possible bonus point for Gloucester on the cards?

hey... Scrum.com lied to me, thats not the score at all! its 35-15 then is it?

Biarritz are much better this season than last.

Ngwenya's 3 tries were no fluke. He has been running over players to score all season in the Top 14. No question, he is the form winger in World rugby at the moment. Habana who? Nalaga would be the other wing in a World XV.

Marcelo Bosch only in his fourth game back from a year long shoulder problem is now a sure thing to play 15 for Argentina. His work with Ngwenya was superb today. Since returning, Biarritz have been much sharper and have won all four games.

Gloucester will be unlikely to make the playoffs now. The loss was such a high points differential that they will now need to win big. Glasgow are not likely to lose by 30 points against them.....

Nah...Nalaga is nowhere near the finished article yet. He wouldn't even play for Fiji atm. Not enough skills...

??? You joking right??

What makes Ngwenya so special is his fairytale story and the way he came to play for Biarritz
