Bobby Robson has died at the age of 76 following a long and arduous battle with cancer. For those who saw him at St James Park on Sunday it will come as no surprise but still shocking when the actual event happens.

No words can really do justice to the impact that he's had on football, his enthusiasm for the game was infectious and he always left a club or team in a better position than when he'd arrived.

    An abolsute legend, RIP Bobby.

Came across as a good man in a dirty business.
  5. Really sad day for football, a true legend of the game, and from all i've heard today a real gentleman.

    RIP Sir Bobby Robson

Would be a better game if there was more people like him involved.

  8. Very sad news, Sir Bobby was quality. At least he's not suffering anymore. He looked horribly ill last weekend. Gob bless, Bobby.
