'Borking' the kick

When you're charging down a kick, I always thought you had to be dead quiet and not make a sound. But then earlier this year in a NSW v QLD match I saw/heard one of the NSW forwards clap his hands while he was charging (jogging, really) down the kick.

I'm confused haha
 
It's just one of those unwritten rules that you don't make noise while someones kicking, it's shows bad sportsmanship if you do and is usually frowned upon. It's like in Basketball you don't make a noise when people take a shot at the hoop just to put them off thou you probably could it's just something people don't do.
 
ahh like in cricket, you don't sledge while the bowler is running in to bowl
