Brian Moore - Rugby Superhero

Pfff. The '90s were great for rugby. But look back at matches before that ... you don't want to? No, because they are soooo boring - 10-man game, kick kick kicking ...

Go back to the '70s? Flashes here and there, but everyone was on two packs a day and inflatable sheep were the hottest thing in the valleys.

Rugby goes through stages.

I have no answer, except to leave things up to the ref and stop micro-managing with statistics. We all know what it's like to be on the pitch, how the basics work. Let them work!

p.s. TehMite, please desist with current sig - can't cope with that ... much ... longer.

I doubt Brian Moore would be saying that if England were any good at playing with these laws. Still, he's pretty much right. Even if he is the devil.

Old (pre ELV) rules, except for the lineout and scrum ones.

And Drop-goals and penalties down to 2 points, and maybe trys for 6 points with only one for a conversion.

Then it's all back to normal....maybe even slightly better.
