They'll be rubbish once Bennett leaves lol!, But I heard or read somewhere that Bellamy could end up there. I'll be worried a bit then.

Ahh wont be the same without Bennet! This is a big signing, i thought Folau would've stayed at Melbourne. I read his family stays in Brizzy, maybe that was the deciding factor.

Its good that we can start buying up big names like Folau.
The loss of rep players Petero Civenoceiva, Dane Carlaw, Brent Tate, Shaun Berrigan and Brad Thorn has pretty much freed up half our salary cup.
As a result we have Peter Wallace, Joel Clinton, Ashton Sims, PJ Marsh and enough money left over for the all mighty Israel Folau.
Theres still cash floating around as well apparently, so don't be surprised if we pick up another big name for next year.

Yeah they've all been fantastic. Its about time we get a specialist hooker and halfback...not just utilities.

Another issue with Folau coming up here is his current coach...
Will Craig Bellamy follow Folau and become the Broncos coach for 2008? Everyone up there wants Bellamy to, and initially he said no but now Folau is up there it might influence him.
All part of a brilliant strategy by the Broncos to have another super coach and a scarily good roster at the same time.

I read on teletext that if Bellamy does go, Iglis(sp?) and Cameron Smith might go as well as they have this clause in their contracts oo intriguing

I heard that too, but its very unlikely to happen because the Broncos wouldn't be able to fit both Inglis and Smith under their salary cap as well as everyone else, unless of course they play for a lowly sum of something around the $50 000 mark each. But I suppose with players leaving the Broncos, they might be able to pay them a tad more.
The money will come in 2010 because Lockyer is tipped to retire at the end of 2009.

Folau you superstar. Add him to our young list and bam! Our team is nuts. So many young guns too, like when they said Boyd was only 20 during the game last Friday I was shocked.. and Hunts only just turned 21 and it seems hes been around for yearsss. Add that to the cheap signings of Wallace (only 22 and what.a.signing) whos been bloody fantastic, the experience of Marshall and our front Row whos workrate against the Cowboys was amazing.. we have a GOOD TEAM.
So many people have riten the Broncos off before the season for 13-14th ish, now we are the only undefeated team after 3 convincing victories. and would have to be big premiership contenders.. gets interesting though, Broncos playing the Storm next Friday night.
Some reason, I doubt Inglis or Smith will come up, but I reckon we could sneak in another superstar.

Looks pretty much like the broncos are going to be a very dominate team, even more so then before....roosters and broncos look like the pick this year, might be a surprise from the sharks..or the knights (i wish)
