I think the fact that the woman refuses to press charges due to a mixture of "not wanting further media exposure" and "not wanting to go through the whole process" shows either:

a) She hasn't got a leg to stand on and wanted the attention.
Bee) She hasn't got a leg to stand on after being put under serious pressure by medical staff and her boyfriend to report the whole affair to the authorities.

And it sounds like the incident happened in the morning? When do they do rehab sessions?
