Doncaster Knights have completed a transfer coup by bringing in hooker Rhys Buckley from Newport Gwent Dragons.

He's looked a passable player for the Dragons. Surprised he hasn't stayed with them.

Not a bad player, can't see what he wants to gain from that. Dragons are without Willis and Burns and surely Steve Jones' days are numbered (if he hasn't already retired), so he could have got a lot of game time in Newport.

I heard that he was being offered a rubbish salary at the Dragons, less than he could make as an apprentice electrician.
