Can one of the G9 teams win it this year?

Just looking at the schedule, it would appear a lot of the big teams will be sans their AB players after round 12. Wellington and Canterbury the most affected. Does this give the chance for a championship to one of Bay of Plenty, Southland, or Hawke's Bay ?

Would be great to see a non Super franchise claim the ***le, and I would certain have a smirk if it was one of the teams slatted for going down. Looking pretty stupid Mr Tew if Tasman get up and win it .... go the Makos!
