We smashed Edinburgh best performance by a mile ironically Geraghty's first start and Fenby also on his first start gets a hat trick. Another try for Williams to.

Also shout out to Ensei who beat Brive

Only saw the scoreline, and that Fenby got a hat rick, but that is a hell of a result for the Not Nots.
For confidence reasons, more than anything.

About to settle down and watch the Sale game in French commentary, wish me luck

Won 10 - 17 away at Castres,

Not a massive scoreline but I'm happy. Club policy, this season, is use the 2nd stringers and academy in away Euro games, so to get a win away from home (where we are, traditionally, terrible in Europe) and to close out a tight game is great.

We'll put out a more-or-less first choice next week, and should get the win at home.
No idea what that means for the pool, but good to get a win after a few close losses in the Aviva.

Beat Castres 31 - 10 this weekend, so happy again.
After a disastrous start at Newport we've done better in Europe - in our hands whether or not we progress now.

Funny comment from Dimes post match:
"The difference in budgets with Castres is huge. They flew here and back by private jet - we went to Castres on Easyjet via Heathrow!"

Pretty dreadful from Castres considering they had a several first choice players out and Sale were playing by and large a second string.
