Totally disagree with McCarthy's assessment there. Connacht's pack did enough to win that game. Marmion, Carty and Porch were excellent playmakers and it would have been enough to win if they weren't playmaking for Tigers.

Been very good today

Doubt he'll ever be in a first choice 23 but would be surprised if he doesn't pick up some caps over the next few years. Doris will be first choice but doesn't exactly have a great injury record and of the other options Conan and Deegan are both with Leinster so that won't hurt him either.

Still he's behind Coombes and probably Penny in the 'backrows we need to be cap this summer' list.
