The way the semi final fixtures are decided has changed. There is now more reignition for doing well in the pools and winning an away quarter.

Using that format last year would have meant Saracens v Leinster and Toulon v Clermont in the semi-finals.
2013-14 would have been Saracens v Munster & Clermont v Toulon. 2012-13 - Munster v Saracens & Clermont v Toulon
