So it would seem that, rather than having two Pro12 teams in one semi with the Aviva and Top14 in another semi with winners meeting for the final qualification spot, a Pro12 team will play an Aviva team with the winner of that meeting a Top14 team for the final spot.

Seems a bit strange to me.

To be honest I'm not upset about the new way of changing format. More annoyed at way they do it just like that. And why is it French only have to win 1 game?

Because most French teams don't have any consistency which means it is more fair to make them play only 1 game? :lol:
