I'm pretty much unsupervised at my job. If the "big boss" (the general manager) isn't there, which is around half the time when I work, I can bring my laptop and tether an internet connection to it from my phone.

If he is there, I can still post and IM from my phone, but it's a bit more annoying to type that way. It's just the whole psychological factor, if he saw me using a laptop he would object, but if I'm typing away on my phone he doesn't, even if I'm doing the exact same thing that I would have been doing on the laptop.
