Converting from a back to a forward.

A lot of jumpers wear them so the lifters get some grip, because otherwise you are lifting by their ass, which would result in less height.

Wrong way around xD the blocks are for the front lifter to get a better grip rather than lifting by grabbing their knee / lower thigh area, tis easier to use when its wet.
 
I've also had a quick word with the 1st team captain last night at training who's a flanker and he said he'll keep an eye on me and let me know if i'm going wrong anywere.
