One of the guys to look out for is a guy coming in at 1,94 98kg's called Duhan van der Merwe 17yr old wing from George which is situated in SWD. He is quick and a bloody monster!

Nice to see Zimbabwe and Namibia get a chance to run out against some of these teams and each other!

Are Robert du Preez twins playing for KZN?
Daniel and Jean-Luc, second row and 8. Older brother Rob Jr was the Baby Boks standoff.

The Craven week is a joke, there has to be 9 players of colour in each team and 5 on the field at any given time.

Lol, yeah that was a big talking point in the local newspapers, and sitting on the stand Saturday, you could clearly hear everyone muttering about the quota system.

Luckily there is a Bokkie-week too... Where only White players can play, but as in all politics. if you choose to go to bokkie week, you are not allowed to play Craven Week.

It's actually a pity, there's a guy from Limpopo, Arno van Staden. 1.93m tall, he plays wing, and earlier in the year broke the SA Schools 100m sprint record. He only played one full game, one half, and then benched the other one because they had to put in quotas.

I liked the look of EW Viljoen as well; fullback for the Free State. Ja, there are some big, powerful and speedy white wingers out there and some of them have developed skillsets as well. I was a big winger myself but whites won't make it as wingers in SA; it's the one position where previous disadvantaged players generally fare well and get a look in first and won't get dropped. White wingers either need to move to one of 8, 13 or 15 or get overlooked sadly. That's SA race politics for you.

The WP forwards also looked like the best pack for my money so will all probably be signing for the Blue Bulls in 2 year's time.
