Australia sure has suffered from his absence this whole time...it sucks he's out. Fk it, when's the last time we saw a fully healthy Aussie side ?...

That is really crappy news, not just for Australia/Brumbies but for him as a player.
How much rugby has he played the last 2 years? Can't be more than a handful of games.

His morale will have been knocked a bit by this, unfortunately i reckon he ends up retiring from injury at some point

it sucks but players with ticker can come back from multiple knee injuries. Just look at Brent Tate? I mean how many knee recons has he had and then returned to the top of the game?

dont know how much its affected the wallabies, some would say hooper has overtaken him anyway? Hoopers insane, probably the best aussie forward over the last two years.

Certainly disappointing for Pocock. As others have mentioned he has barely been on the field for the last couple of years. He will be a big loss for the Brumbies if this proves to be serious (as they are unlikely to be able to call in George Smith to replace him this year), but as Larksea mentions it isn't actually that much of a blow to the Wallabies. Yes he is world class, but Hooper has been exceptional in the Wallabies 7 jersey these last two seasons, indeed making many peoples "World XV" last season....

Hope he's ok... The man is an absolute superstar on the field and a top bloke off it.

Hope he is alright top players. One of my favourite 7 about. He is like the Southern hemisphere Tom croft of injuries at the moment one big injury after another. Brumbies will miss him.

Australia as a country are lucky that they have some seriously talented 7 about. Hooper and Gill both look in good form.

Updated:

David Pocock has undergone another knee reconstruction and will miss the rest of the 2014 season.

You're right, bud.

George Smith held up as Brumbies' ideal replacement for injured David Pocock in Super Rugby:

Re-ruptured the same ACL? Damn ... recovering from multiple knee injuries where different ligaments go is one thing, but ruptures of the same one sure does put a dark cloud over his future. Rough luck for the fella
