Apparently because he was tried, found guilty and banned by an independent ERC panel the ban technically only applies to Amlin Trophy and H-Cup rugby. Other competitions (APR, ML, TOP14, etc) fell into line with an ERC request that everyone else respect the ban.
However, Deano insists that the highest court in the land for a world-wide ban should have been the iRB and has spoken to them about it!
He's already "advised Worcester" which is perilously close to breaking the ban in my eyes.
