Defensive Set Play - How Do You Use Them?

I've had the game since release, but have never been able to use defensive set-plays consistantly as I keep moving contolled players around. Caanyone explain when exactly you should hit the direction button for a defensive set play?

you press the dpad - just like when you have the ball. i only really use it for kick defence - since thats the only one that makes a hell of alot of diffrence

That's very unhelpful. I use keyboard anyway. I know it's the arrow keys/d-pad, but I move players rather than set defences - is there any way tou change this?

sometimes I fell like the only gamer on earth.....

okay....to do it easily, you change the player once....to a new player o defence and then it works immediately...you need to be quick and have good anticipation and co-ordination
