Hey, my friends,
Came across an article yesterday talking about how the Prem lost around $50 million last year. Obviously, the league has been around for a long time- how can this be?
Are they always running a deficit? Do the owners just not care because they like their toys? Is there a reasonable expectation that this trend will turn around?
Just looking for insights from fans who have been around a while... it felt to me like that article should have been catastrophic news, but it’s barely getting mentioned...
