England 2024/25

Maybe but it does also say the initial selection meeting has already happened before a final meeting soon.
I mean isn't that again just stating the obvious?

Like they would've made the decision same time the EQP was decided most likely.

Will be interested to see how they go cause the A team was pitched more as U20's grads and players in the extended squad or there abouts

Yeah. It will be interesting. The 'pathway' set-up would definitely suggest that the U20s props will be in and it might be the decider on any 50:50s. A form XV of players outside the main squad would look quite different to a pathway squad (albeit with some crossover).

With Ewels - are we betting it was head-on-head during tackle practice?
Or the same incident as Chessum's knee?

If SB wanted Chessum at 6 the surely he has to go with Ted Hill as the starting like for like replacement. Or does he go with Cole's at 6 (which I dislike) or change the type of player altogether and go back to the kamikaze twins? Or keep CCS at 6.

This is the most actual options I think we've ever had in a squad.

It's only Monday. There's plenty of time for blindfolded parkour training injuries to reduce the number of back row options.

CCS started all 3 matches over the summer and did pretty well. I can see the arguments for a Chessum proxy, but it would be odd not to give CCS the chance to build on that.
And if Earl is 8, then there needs to be more ball carrying from 6.

Rowntree now available again. Think he would be worth a punt in the coaching setup?

That's wild given his apparent success at the club:

"After joining the club in 2019, Rowntree spent three years as forwards coach before being appointed head coach ahead of the 2022/23 season. In his first season as head coach, Rowntree led Munster to the URC ***le, the club's first trophy in 12 years, before overseeing a top of the table finish in last season's URC campaign.

So CCS starting as is Slade. No Underhill.
6:2 split as well.

Feel like we will be missing a big tackler.

I can't help but feel we are going back to world cup kicking England rather than six nations England. Really hope I'm wrong.
