Do the Argentina results this Champ put our tour there in perspective that we had a very good tour with so many senior players unavailable...

Possibly, although it becomes a question of how rusty the players were. It's say Argentina now would beat Argentina from then

Strange team. Plenty of ability and a capable of big results but also very capable of losing matches he's they should win.

That said, they've got a pretty good record in the RWC. Plenty of teams would have been very happy to make it to 3 SFs.

I like Blackett's appointment. I don't like the constant musical chairs in the coaching setup. I'm still not confident Borthwick actually knows what he's doing and is still just reacting when things go well or badly. Wigglesworth has had multiple roles now and seems to have been replaced by someone better in most of them. Either he's up to the job or not. Don't keep shuffling him around because you don't want to admit a mistake or because he's your friend or because he's being groomed for HC after.

How does Wigglesworth stay in the setup? If his role is constantly changing, he obviously can't be good enough at any of them. It seems like he needs to be binned off. I think he's a friend of Borthwick and he doesn't have the guts to ditch his friend completely.

My guess is they see him as a jack of all trades, master of none - he did well dropping into the top role at Tigers, I reckon they keep shifting him around because they want him in the setup/getting England experience to take over from Borthwick when his contract runs out

Though, and I mentioned this a while back, I think they'd had have been better off facilitating a move for Wigglesworth to go back to Tigers as HC for the next couple of years before coming back in post RWC
