Can't see Radwan making it tbh, especially not withe the Arundell love in in full force
Be 28 this season, as well, so might even have aged out of the A side
Oh i really hope hes not in the thoughts. Radwan is WAY better. But at the moment its Freeman and Roebuck for me.

Did i hear Waboso limped off again with a hamstring issue?

Yeah - wasn't as bad as when they properly go pop, he walked off under his own weight, but didn't look overly comfortable with it
Do we know it was definitely hamstring? Looked like it could have been a calf strain to me.

What makes you say that?

I’m not a particular fan of Arundell, I just think ‘WAY better’ is a bold claim to make without qualifying why.

I’d take Freeman, IFW, Roebuck, Murley and Sleightholme over both FWIW.

Radwan has way better defence, and is probably better in the air too, tbf

He's taken his "faster than everyone else" game and rounded out his skillset too (similar to how Johnny May did) - Arundell hasn't hit that stage yet

Because at the moment IMO i think his all round game is at a higher level than Arundell. Thats not saying much because its still below those you have mentioned above.

But in a Radwan v Arundel yes, id put Radwan ahead, as i think Arundels game still needs alot of work, away from his pace.

A lot of this is moot. There are 4 (mainly) wingers with central contracts in Roebuck, IFW, Daly and Freeman. Barring a really bad run of injuries or positional change 😀there’s little scope for others to get a look in.

And out of those who'd you drop? Roebuck at a push I'm guessing
Im Not No Way GIF

This is the sort of article I choose to ignore.

Freeman at 13 might be a very good option in time and more experience of playing there, but with Lawrence back to fitness, it might be nice to see him playing in his proper position alongside an actual 12 (preferably Atkinson).

For the first time in years, we have he option of picking very capable round pegs for round holes so why TF would we reach for the square pegs.

Borthwick likes making the pegging awkward.

Assuming we have a fit crop of centres, I’ll be very interested to see who he picks.

Atkinson seems to have really impressed in Argentina so it would be great to see him get a run at 12 in some really challenging fixtures. If he can hold his own vs. Australia and NZ in particular I think we will have an answer to one of our perennial questions.

Hopefully, that would mean 13 is open for Lawrence. IMO, he’s yet to truly arrive at test level but that might be largely due to being asked to play like a crash 12. I think he and Atkinson could be a very good partnership. Also, if Marchant returns next season and Freeman wants to be considered as a centre, it would be good to have had Blackett working on a system that is focused on more of a running threat at 13. Lawrence is much more of that ilk than Slade or Dingwall.

Theres a host of centres coming through, many listed above including Waghorn, Woodward, Masai White, Beard etc etc .

For me at the moment the two stand outs are Lawrence and Atkinson.

12 Atkinson
13 Lawrence

Is Lawrences defence at 13 good enough for this level. Can he be the defensive leader?

Freeman has elevated himself to a top class international winger. If he wants to be a 13, then it will need to start at Saints, he'll have to start week in week out. The process will begin again. However i DO think we could be a top class 13 aswell, so it might be worth the project.

We do have some competition at wing.
